Bio:
Throughout her life, Jessie Mae Hodsdon held a love of creative things. From music, to drama, to dancing, to writing, she was always dreaming. At fourteen, she wrote Issym. By her sixteenth year, she had realized two things. One: that youth were capable of doing great things, but few were doing them. And two: that books could be exciting AND clean, but most were not. Called by God both to inspire her fellow youth to begin living and to challenge them to put down impurity, Jessie Mae formed Rebirth publishing and released Issym at seventeen.
Soon after, Jessie Mae was invited to speak at churches, youth groups and schools to share her message and to spark students' excitement about writing. Issym's sequel, Asandra, was released a year later with astounding success.
Jessie Mae currently lives in her hometown of Bangor, Maine while she studies at Nyack College in her junior year. She has been interviewed for various articles, reviews and interviews. From researching for a future biography to serving with the youth program Bible Quizzing, Jessie Mae's creativity continues to be as diverse as it was in childhood.
Rebirth Publishing is growing rapidly. It published Xsardis, the third installment in the Chronicles of Xsardis, this November.
